Privacy on burnerdocs.dev
This is the MCP's sign-up site. Its privacy terms are different from those of the BurnerDocs converter on burnerdocs.com, which promises more. Its home page shows advertising, and every page uses analytics.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare's privacy policy). As with any website, each request reaches Cloudflare with your IP address and what your browser sends, such as its name and version and the page asked for. We haven't turned on request logs for this site. If a Cloudflare security rule blocks or limits a request, Cloudflare records that request, including its IP address, for a period Cloudflare sets.
Advertising. The home page shows ads from Google AdSense. To choose, show and measure ads, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies and collect information such as your IP address, identifiers stored in your browser, the pages you visit and how you interact with the ads. Ads may be personalised based on your activity on other sites and apps. Google's advertising and consent code loads with the page, before you make any choice, which sends Google your IP address, your browser's user-agent and the page address. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message then asks you, and you can decline; use "Privacy and cookie settings" at the bottom of the home page to change your choice. Elsewhere, ads may use cookies without asking first. In US states with privacy laws, see "US state privacy rights" below. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
US state privacy rights
Personalised advertising is "sharing". Advertising on burnerdocs.dev is served by Google AdSense. In California and other states with opt-out rights, we treat personalised advertising as "sharing" (cross-context behavioural advertising) and, where a state defines it so, as "sale" or "targeted advertising".
What is shared, and with whom. In the last 12 months, through the ads on the home page: identifiers, such as cookie and device identifiers and your IP address; internet and browsing activity, such as the pages you visit and your interactions with ads; and approximate location. It is shared with Google and its advertising partners (Google's list of its advertising partners). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16, and we do not collect sensitive personal information.
How to opt out. In the states where the law gives this right, Google shows a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our home page, the page that carries ads; use it to opt out. Or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser: we treat it as your opt-out, and Google's advertising code receives it automatically. After you opt out you still see ads, but they are not personalised. Your choice applies to the browser you make it in, so make it again in each browser you use. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, use Google's consent message and "Privacy and cookie settings" instead (see "Advertising" above).
Your rights. Depending on your state, you can ask to know what personal information we have about you and get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. You can make a request yourself or through an authorised agent, by emailing legal@franklinsoftworks.com; we may need to check that the request is yours. This site has no accounts yet and keeps no advertising data of its own: Google holds that data, and we'll help you with a request about it. If we turn a request down, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line; if you're unhappy with our answer to the appeal, you can contact your state's attorney general. We won't discriminate against you for using any of these rights.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see how fast pages load. A script from static.cloudflareinsights.com sends Cloudflare the address of the page, the page you came from (when your browser passes it on), how long the page took to load, your browser engine and version, how much memory the page used, and a random ID for that one page view. From that request Cloudflare also works out your country, browser, operating system and device type. We see totals only. Cloudflare says Web Analytics doesn't collect or use visitors' personal data and doesn't track individual visitors across sites.
Cookies. Our own pages set no cookies. Google's advertising and consent tools store cookies and similar data on this site. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
As the service grows, this site will add more scripts, including for sign-up and payments. We'll update this note when we do.
Changes to this note.
- 1 November 2026: added "US state privacy rights": we treat personalised advertising as "sharing", what is shared and with whom, how to opt out (Google's "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or Global Privacy Control), and your rights.
